Maritime Lapel is a student at the September Institute in House Blue World.
She is physically described as kind of sinewy, with dark, white-streaked hair worn up in a messy bun and world-weary eyes. When she first met Aria and The Chime she was wearing a pantsuit in the dark blue and seafoam of her House.
She uses her Stratus abilities to sculpt things in the Mesh.

Aria and Mako encountered Maritime during their investigation at the September Institute. Mako eventually found a news article showing that Maritime died years ago after being shot. Investigating this lead eventually led Aria and Mako to a secret cloning facility at the Institute where he encountered numerous clones of both Maritime and himself all based off of a clone of Maryland September. Apparently previous clones of Maritime had serially discovered the lab during the Institute's Formal and attempted to flee. In all but one case the clone was killed in secret. One clone was shot in Mode City and discovered leading to the news article about her death. When the Chime fled September the clones of Maritime were trapped in interdimensional space and assimilated by Rigour and Voice. When Rigour escaped from the interdimensional prison and sent forth it's forces to invade the Golden Branch, numerous clones of Maritime piloting Rigour units provided a large portion of the Divine's forces. |
